Welcome to Shenandoah Naturalists, our web-based site for birding, hiking, wildlife and naturalist news in the Northern Shenandoah Valley.  We started on Thanksgiving Day, 2010 and continue to work to improve our website! Our most sincere thanks go to everyone who has visited us and helped with our Shenandoah Naturalists projects.

All across the world, a new form of communication is taking birth.  Not unlike the advent of printable type centuries ago, people are finding that technology is opening an entirely new paradigm for communication and information.  Our intent is to publish for everyone the opportunities that exist in our area, show when & where people with similar interests can meet, and serve as a source of information to everyone interested in the beauty and diversity of life here in the Shenandoah.  So join us as we embark on this adventure of love for the beauty and splendor of our incredible valley!
